Fabrizio Cattaneo was born in Switzerland in 1971. He attended the University of Freiburg where he studied finance & economics and received a degree in economics with magna cum laude. Fabrizio started his career in 1998 with Bank Oppenheim as an equity analyst. He joined Bank Julius Baer in 2000 where he worked as an equity analyst before moving to Pictet Asset Management in 2004 where he is currently a senior investment manager. Outside of fund management he enjoys ice hockey.

Andreas Hug

Andreas Hug was born in Switzerland in 1976. He started his career at Migros Bank in 1998 once he completed his studies at the Business School of Wil. Andreas became a portfolio manager in 2001. In 2008 he joined Pictet where he manages small and mid-cap equity funds. His investment style is stock picking based on the firm’s ability to generate cash flow to reinvest it at attractive returns. Andreas is certified as International Investment Analyst (CIIA).

Lorenz Reinhard

Lorenz Reinhard was born in Bern, Switzerland in 1968. He started his financial training as a banking apprentice and joined Zurcher Kantonalbank in 1993 as a Swiss equity analyst. Lorenz joined Julius Baer in 1995 as a Swiss equity sell-side analyst and in 1997 he became an investment manager for a small-mid cap fund and a blue chip fund. In 2003 he joined Pictet Asset Management where he currently manages a number of Swiss equity funds. Lorenz has been managing funds for over 13 years and holds a CFPI diploma (Certified Financial Analyst and Portofolio Manager). Outside of fund management he enjoys tennis, skiing, music and the cinema and theatre.

Objective

The fund invests at least two thirds of its assets in equity securities and rights in small and medium-sized enterprises which are registered in or carry out the greater part of their activity in Switzerland, as well as in other collective investment schemes, denominated in Swiss francs, which invest all or part of their assets in accordance with the directives of this investment fund.
